Akiiki Moto Tours was founded in 2025 by Marc Nicol and Sarah Pearce after completing a 35,000 km trip through 14 countries around Africa. They loved it so much and decided to make it their mission to share this wonderful continent with people who want to see the real Africa.
Today we operate across six countries, running tours that showcase the best riding in Africa: remote gravel roads, hidden villages, wildlife-rich wilderness, and sweeping mountain passes that take your breath away.

Marc is the founder of Akiiki Moto Tours. A South African riding since age seven, he has over four decades of two-wheeled experience. As a certified Adventure Guide and Wilderness First Responder, Marc combines local knowledge with professional qualifications to deliver safe, exceptional adventure tours.al execution.
Sarah Pearce
Support Driver & Head Chef
Sarah is the co-founder and the organisational powerhouse behind Akiiki Moto Tours. She is also an exceptional cook and will make sure you are properly looked after from the moment you arrive.
